This sculpture is a replica of my father’s and grandmother’s house that I grew up in. I find family and memory to be great themes through my work. My grandmother’s passion is her garden, and it’s something I cherish. These days I fantasize about one day having a garden of my own, or a house of my own. This sculptural planter is a sweet memory of home, and a place to hold my own garden until I have some land of my own.
